  • 4 oz Micro Balloon
  • 1 Razor Blade
  • 1 piece of each 180 and 320 sandpaper
  • 1 piece of scotch pad
  • 1 1oz Bond CA
  • 1 1 oz Flex Bond
  • 1 set of gloves
  • 1 respirator mask
  1. Put on gloves and mask. Trim the damaged area with a razor blade until flush. Make sure there are no brittle areas left. Now "V" out cracks to improve the strength of your repair.
  2. Sand the area with 320 grit sandpaper. Now clean the area throughly with a Water Base Cleaner (dish soap and water-simple green, etc.) to get any dirt and grime off. Next use alcohol (denatured-rubbing) to remove any silicone contaminants.
  3. Repair Method
    Micro Balloon - Fill the bottom of the crack with Bond/CA Adhesive. Then use Micro Balloon to fill the crack. Spread the Micro Balloon flush with the dash using the edge of the sandpaper. Now apply Bond/CA over the top. The Micro Balloon will smoke and get rigid when adhesive is applied. Sand with 180 grit sandpaper. Apply Flex Bond over the repair (use the Bond Kicker to accelerate the drying time of the adhesive) to cover any pinholes and sand with 180 them 320 until smooth.
  4. Texturing
    Flex/Bond - Dab over the repaired area using the piece of scotch pad. Spray Bond Kicker to accelerate the drying time, then sand with 320 to achieve the desired texture.
  5. Coloring
    Purchase your color from one of our color charts and spray your color in light coats allowing each coat to dry.
